VINK Calf puller
The Vink Calf Puller for heavy beef cattle is a very strong and functional tool for calving; the calf is pulled leg by leg with the aid of the pulling mechanism.
Functional design with all stainless steel construction. Important advantages include single-handed operation, impossible to slip away from the cow, and permits pulling tension straight up for posterior presentation or down in the direction of the udder for a normal birth. The alternate action lever mechanism of the calf puller is equipped with two hooks that will be drawn one by one when pulling a calf. The pole can be moved sideways for a maximum of 30 degrees. Unique pivoting-fork design permits herdsman to efficiently draw calf in the ideal way - downward for normal or upward for breach presentations. No extra person needed to hold puller in place. Features a rotating lever system which greatly assists in maneuvering the calf during birth. Unique rump-frame encircles securely onto rear of cow, allowing both hands free; frame does not obstruct cow or calf making it nearly impossible for frame to slip out of position.
It has a heavy-duty and durable construction, designed to last long. Also, if the birth becomes complicated the traction can be released immediately without causing any complication in the birth or any harm to the calf. Further, Dystocia related problems could also be avoided, by ensuring the right method of pulling the Calf. This birth aid can allow a single person to carry out difficult births, even if the fetus is the wrong way round. The strap goes around the hind quarters of the animal and prevents slipping off - suitable for all breeds. Tensile forces can be applied to all sides (bottom, top, back) and the tensile force can be released immediately in the event of complications.
